Plant Societies

Plant societies provide a structure through which plant material and information can be exchanged and enthusiasm shared. Some are devoted to a particular genus or group of plants, others to a style of gardening or a horticultural theme.  Through their publications, websites and events they seek to disseminate knowledge and are a valuable resource in ensuring that the origins and characteristics of plants are recorded and that stock of unusual plants remains in cultivation.
